IEF-Control
The FOCUS IEF-Control consists of 4 independent HV-power supplies combined in one 19" frame. The power supplies provide the voltages
for the SAMPLE, the GRID and two lens elements (L1,L2). Either the SAMPLE-voltage or the GRID-voltage can be remote controlled using a PC and the SPECTRA Hard- and Software, while the other voltages
are kept constant. All parameters and settings of the power supplies can be displayed on the digital voltmeter.
The IEF-Control contains an additional power supply for the preamplifier, whose
output (5-pin DIN socket) is located on the rear panel.
The potentials SAMPLE, GRID, Column L1 and L2 are connected to two SHV sockets at the rear panel, the REMOTE input are BNC sockets.
The COLUMN potential provided by the power supply PEEM Control can be branched using the three internally conected SHV sockets.
This is necessary for some modes of operation.
